29/09/2017 - PUBLIC HOLIDAY
This is to inform the general public that the federal government of Nigeria has declared Friday, 1st and Monday 4th September, 2017 as Public Holiday to mark Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Athens, wishes to remind the general public that the administrative fees of 40 euro for visa application and 25 euro for Nigerian Passports remain abolished.
However, a statutory fee for other services rendered by the Embassy remains as follows:
- Authentication of Documents ---------- 30 euro
- Legalization ------------------------------ 225 euro
- Emergency Travel Certificate (ETC) --- 50 euro
- Consular letters ------------------------- 30 euro

SUSPENSION OF ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGES FOR E-PASSPORT AND VISA APPLICATION
This is to inform the General Public that the online payment for Nigerian passports and Visas henceforth do not attract further administrative charges during submission or collection until further notice.
However, Authentication of documents and Emergency Travel Documents (ETC) are not affected by this directive.

This is to inform the General Public that the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has ordered the closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja from 8th March to 19th April, 2017.
Consequently, all flights and other airport activities will be relocated to the Kaduna International Airport during this period. The purpose for the closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport is to effect general repairs on the airport tarmac (runway).
