The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Athens, Greece was first opened in the 80's and the re-establishment of 4th February, 2000 with its Chancery at 50 Iakinthon Street, Paleo Psychico. Today, the Chancery is currently located at NO. 17, Rue Streit -Filothei, Athens, Greece. The Mission is headed by His Excellency, Ajadi Ibraheem Folorunsho, Charge d' Affaires En-titre and has other Diplomatic staff as well as supporting staff. The Mission provides Consular, Immigration and other services to Nigerians in Greece, Greeks and other nationals.
The Mission is also engaged in representational duties on behalf of the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on political, economic, social, educational, humanitarian, cultural and other global issues such as promoting trade ties and supporting new avenues for economic partnership between Greece and Nigeria.
